It's in a 20 long qt tank right now.

Yeah, that's a bit of a problem. Those are pretty tight quarters for 3 fish, and ultimately not big enough for any flasher.

Yeah I only plan on keeping him there for short period just to medicate. And the clowns are only 1 inch long so I didn't think it would be an issue. Guess who was wrong lol. I'll take him back for a smaller specials wrasse like a tanaka

Then if it's just a QT, you might just consider a divider for now. Eggcrate with screen over it works well.

Probably; need to see or know the number of dorsal filaments to be sure.

Tj had it with a pic I posted when I 1st got (how? That's a good ?), just seeing jSanchez with the flav. kinda through me off which looks very similar. Been watching the wrasse and looking at posted pics.

How do you 2 go about identifying considering all the color transitions within these? You all are pretty spot on and always have great advice.

I came across a beautiful wrasse in an LFS today. The fellow working the shop said that it came in as a Katherine's wrasse. Looking at the images online, it looks nothing like a Katherinae.

This fish was light blue with darker spots that almost formed lines and had a very distinct diamond shaped tail that came to a point. The closest looking fish that I could find was a Rhomboid, but it was much paler than the images that I found online and the colouration was quite different. Any thoughts as to what it might be other than a Rhomboid? The price was $189

Yes, they are more colorful. In most cases it doesn't take long at all.
