What are the indicators that it is a female? Is it the dots? I see mine doesn't have them

The eye-spots in the dorsal is one of the indicators, yes. And yours is a a male.

Agreed, C. roseafascia, female.

I'm in Curacao diving this week and some friends who are snorkeling took this picture today. I haven't seen this wrasse on any of our dives and in any of our other Caribbean dives that I recall. Can you guys identify?
