Let Me ID Your Wrasse!

It's a male smalltail wrasse Pseudojuloides cerasinus, Indo variant.

It's a male H. melanurus.

+2 on both of those.

Thank you! Are melanurus aggressive? Mine seems to be.

^Most aren't too aggressive, but some can get quite aggressive.

And +1 as well. Some are, but normally are not too bad.

This guy disappeared for 24 hours after introduction. Then right after a water change I noticed a head sticking out- and a few minutes later it was happily swimming around.

Alright here's one for you. This was sold as a pink margin but its different from my female with those long pelvic fins and missing a pink margin at least on tail. The dorsal has some color but still different from my female. Has the shape, general color and orange eyes like my female but it also does not quite fit the pics of males I have been through and looks to have longer pelvic fins that extend pretty close to tail. Guessing maybe a male in transition or something else?

BTW the ones for sale both came as females from quality marine. The other one looked like my female.

I bought a "filamented flasher" that isn't - wish I could ask y'all for help on it, but already know it's a C. rubriventralis. ("See - it's got the filaments on its dorsal . . . ")

Pretty fish, especially when he displays, but going dark more and more. Hope he doesn't cause trouble when he gets in the DT.
