I can't remember for sure. I just remember it was much more than I had remembered them selling for.

Hello there, bought this gal labeled as just "female wrasse" , about 1.5 inch. Now at 2.5 inch its start to change into??? Black edges at tail and dorsal fins, quite long pelvic fins.... and sorry this is the best pic i could get

Thanks eatbreakfast.....pylei... sweet...

Which Halichoeres is this? The fish store said Melanurus, but it lacks distinct striping on the back, it's faint.

Sorry to hear that Hunter, next time get one from us. If i get them again that is..
I believe all three that i sent out are doing well except one that i heard jumped out of a small gap in back of tank :(
FYI i had the second wave of them.

Nice.
P. hemitaeniatus.
I had the first one from this wave collection wave that made it alive to the states about 6 months ago now. Unfortunately one of the other fish in the box the vendor sent me had velvet too, and I didn't have that specimen for long. :(

Here's another one for you guys, also Halichoeres. This one has a few iridescent golden stripes running along the body's length.

Not necessarily too sweet. They can be pretty aggressive with other fairy and flasher wrasses.

Yup, chased my newly added lubbocki like no tomorrow, jailed him for a month+, now hes ok w him... but now bossing around my damsels... that i can accept

Hey wrasse gurus.... would you consider giving both common and scientific names together for those of us following along and trying to memorize both...
It would help I think...
JMO. Ty in advance for considering it...
