Do either of you have multiples from the Lunatus Complex? Due to losing my C. Isosceles, I'm looking to add another one and possibly C. cf Lunatus. Since they look to be lowest on the aggression spectrum. I know the Philippines Lunatus is very close to same colors as well.. What can I expect since they are within the same sub group?

Any insight would be extremely helpful.

What's the tank size? If it's over 150g, you can usually mix the complex with good results. Lunatus alongside cf lunatus wouldn't be a wise idea though.

My tank is a 120 gallon 4x2x2. Sounds like I should stay away from the cf lunatus then due to being close to the same coloration then. If I stay in that complex what would I have better success with mixing the C. Isosceles with then?

Appreciate your expert advise.

In that size tank isosceles would be the wiser choice.

It's a transitioning Macropharyngodon bipartitus, but it is also rather pale which could be a sign of disease or some other issue.

To be fair it's quite thin also, you've worried me now. What are the best foods for it?

Is it eating prepared foods? Meaty things; mysis, Rods, LRS, etc.
Was it ever dewormed with prazi or metro?

Happy to say I'm new to wrasses after 8 years in the hobby I think it's time to jump into these beautiful fish. I've always have kept sixlines in my rank but never really ventured into the wrasse paradise. Local store was closing and had fish at 60% off so I grabbed what I could to stock my 120g after its done cycling. He's in a holding tank (black stock tank) for at but I snapped this before hand sorry its the best I could do lol.

Any ideas? I'm sure it's a common wrasses but no luck on google

How much was it? Looks almost like female flame.

Definitely a female-ish/submale Paracheilinus - the hard question is what species. I'll go out on a limb and say cyaneus, but we won't know for sure until it grows up more.
