Some people told me it is a scotts

It belongs to the scottorum group. This should help clear it up a little for you it helped me some years back when I was reading up on Scott’s.

Is that the same as C. melanomarginatus? They are closely related to Scott's aren't they? They sure look similar.

Yeah, melanomarginatus is correct.

Yeah it’s nasty! It chases my rubyhead. I want to save the rubyhead and trap this nasty one. Any suggestions to reduce the aggressive behavior?

All you can do is remove it. Put a trap in with a mirror at the back and you'll trap it quickly.

They are comparable to a leopard wrasse.

Saw a picture of the terminal male, they are exceptionally beautiful. Closely related to Leopard Wrasse.
