Let Me ID Your Wrasse!

Thalassoma lunare.
Not suitable for a reef tank IMO. Others may disagree, but the temperament is not kind. All motile inverts are tasty. Coral safe, though.

It, like all Thalassoma, will pretty much eat anything that moves. Including small fish, if they can catch them. If it takes issue with another fish it can't eat, it might just bite its eyes out... (seriously).
But it won't eat corals, so there's that.

perfect for a reef tank!

I guess if I ever have a mantis shrimp issue in my tank, and I decide I don't like all of my nice peaceful fish, this could be a solution..

I ordered fish online and instead of getting 2 of the fish I ordered, I got one that I didn’t order. I’m not sure it is even a wrasse but figured it wouldn’t hurt to post it here. Any ideas?

Can someone please tell me about this wrasse, I was told by the lfs it was a white belly yellow wrasse but could not tell me nothing about genus or compatibility with other wrasses.

Here is my 15.00 Petco rescue. Any ideas on ID besides fairy wrasse? Should it play nice with my other Lubbock Fairy I have at home? We have one of those rare well kept Petco’s and for 15 bucks I couldn’t say no.
