No, not a waste of time at all! Common names can be confusing.

Hunter was probably commenting on that Canadian website stealing LA's photo.

Oh good, thank you! I was pretty sure but sometimes those wrasses that they like to label as "Christmas Wrasse" can look an awful lot alike.

i saw one awhile back that was actually biocellatus, but listed as ornate hawaiian christmas wrasse, and scientific name was halichoeres claudia
