Let me see your 40 breeder stands

Not a 40B, this is a 38 but pretty close. I made it lower than normal because I have you g kids and wanted it to be at a good viewing height for them and when I am sitting on the floor playing with them.

Here’s mine made it a littler taller to fit all my equipment in. Most of the wiring and controllers are in closet behind tank.

Yes, with the three-way corner fasteners and bolts going into three bars, it is very sturdy. I'm in an apartment now and moving in about 3 weeks, so it being lightweight and easy to move is a huge plus. I like that it can be disassembled if necessary and that it's modular. I added these light bars when I moved into my current place. I had my light suspended from brackets on the wall in my last place, but didn't want to deal with patching holes when I move out.

What is you want a long and wider stand? How is the process?
