Here is mine, just started planet 2 weeks ago. Chaeto has doubled maybe tripled in size, feather Caulerpa growing well too. Had the dragons breath in too much light just moved it. Picks are not current. Tank is a 40 breeder 5" sand bed w/Pukani dry rock.

Wow that looks awesome!!!
Thanks, it does! I need to get some life in there though. Need to get some live rubble, or old sand with lots of goodies in it from somewhere, order some pods etc. Pretty void of life, except for bacteria(can't see it) and the macros.

My 14 gallon "Biofuge". Just tore the back wall out of a biocube I had sitting around and looped it back into my sump return section. Tried chateo, but, I'm currently running into a low nutrience issue so it didn't last too long. Consistently 0.00 po4 and 0.0 no3 with Salifert tests.

Forgot to add pic of display and fuge (old pic)

That was an awesome idea!!! I wish I was having a low nutrient problem! Lolol

I would never leave that room. Well, aside from going to peek at the display. Lol!
Yeah, I'm honestly baffled by my nutrience. No algae eating it up. No reactors. Just a little chemipur and phosguard running passively in my sump. Over past 3 months it's slowly gone from a steady 7-10 to undetectable for the last month or so. With no change of routine. And I only do about a 5 gal change every month as param are all stable and all livestock is not only alive, but thriving and growing.

This is a pic of my fish room there's 2 large systems each with a fuge

I like the idea of mangroves in the overflow although it wouldn't work for my application. How much does it effect the flow through the overflow?

Did you have to drill the biocube?

Thanks and I just put a couch in there I'm glued to the tanks lol I have a few in my bedroom too and that's neat I'm going to do a 50% change on the 300 gallon and hope it gets the nitrates to acceptable levels for the chaeto to take care of it :)

No. I added a return pump into the cube from sump, then built a stand that lifts the cube up a bit and used an eshoppe 300 overflow that drops directly back into my return section. Excuse the cluster mess in the pic, that's when first setup prior to zip ties and wire management. Lol
