WOW! You covered your overflow with Asterina Starfish! That's a new one! Not to big on Yellow Polyps, kind of a nuisance coral but I kind of like it as a background coral. Gives a nice movement in the current.

They kinda gather there for some reason. And yeah I had like 3 polyps there. And then boom.

I thought my back panel was a good place for the space invader. I also have orange and grafted cap, and I’m even growing green star polyps on my loc-line. When you run out of place on the rocks, and the sand bed, you get creative.

What kind of Monti Cap is that? do you have a daylight pic?

I’ve planted som Xenia on my back glass. Seems to be growing. I’ll let you know!

Aw man, that xenia's gonna take over. I give it 60 days to cover the entire back and in places you dont want it.

Are you guys simply using epoxy to attach frags to the overflows and glass? I’m thinking about doing this myself to hide my unsightly overflows and utilize their real estate!

Coral glue. It sticks best to coralline as opposed to smooth glass or plastic

Here is a recent pic of some gps I glued onto the over flow as an experiment. I can't tell You how long ago. It's covered Maybe 1/2 out of 3 small pieces . I think it looks nice. I'll put same on on the back glass next

Green Star Polyps as well as various types of Zoanthids and Palythoas make for an ideal backdrop instead of a bare back in my opinion.

That creeping xenia is awesome. Once it gets happy, it spreads fast. I have a barebottom tank and its starting to take over and look like a forest of xenia.[emoji4]

The creeping Xenia is actually Anthelia. Anthelia grows as single polyps from a mat whereas Xenia grows in clusters similar to a broccoli stalk.
