Let's see your controller boards/cabinets!!

I went with used industrial look (because it is)!

10 credits for guessing what is most unreliable part here.

I went with a very similar approach with 1st part of my controls. I'll post pics tomorrow, it's 90 percent complete.

Here is my updated cabinet, still working on a couple more changes.

Simply AWESOME!!! Way to go!!!

as a beginner, how do you attached the electronics to the board they're attached to? The lines look so clean when they're attached like that. Are you using some type of adhesives or is there a bracket on the back of each of them?

how did you the Neptune items to the white board? Are they on special brackets?
The Neptune items come with brackets that screw on. They also come with templates that you can print and tape to the board so you can figure out where you want everything placed.

That's awesome! So the templates come with the Neptune equipment already?

AIO tank. I went a different route and integrated mine into the door. I didn't want to be reaching inside all the time. Kinda rats nesty again inside the cabinet. The panel layout is in need of an update. I've added some equipment and have yet to get things back in order. I do sometimes consider making it all more of display piece mounted on the wall.

The stand was DIY as well. I hate getting close up shots cause it really puts on display how much I rushed and cut corners on that stand. Rough cut edges, nail holes not filled, zero sanding. There's more laziness to be spotted. I'm an actual carpenter, so I feel the need to publicly shame myself. :)

Hey did you have any problems running the GHL with the apex?
Cabinet looks great
The GHL is not being controlled by the APEX . The Apex is controller the power for the GHL but not the dosing. Works great for me... Here is pic of my tank currently

I have a question. For the people with their apex and other controllers mounted either next to or on the outside of the cabinet exposed, do you have any issues with the inevitable splashes and drips of saltwater getting on the electronics? I'm thinking of mounting my controller board on the wall next to my 50 cube but I'm scared of any water getting on it. I just have it temporarily leaning against the wall but I'm thinking about mounting it above where it is. Do you think i should build an enclosed cabinet? Thanks.

It depends on the controller. I know the Hydros has a IP65 rating so it is splash proof. Now the power bars is a different story. I am not sure about the other controllers.

I couldn't edit the original post, but here are the finished pictures.

Check out my build thread for a more detailed description of the construction.

what type of screws did you use for mounting the battery pack? i know it's heavy and I want to drill it into the tank stand, but not sure what size screw will hold it!
