During this shutdown, I have a lot of time to design my stand. I have a waterbox 6x2x2. I am looking for ideas so I would like to see what others have built.

Final design is a little different but I just ordered this 8020 aluminum frame for my 30x30x24. I’m interested to see how the material is, I contacted my local supplier and had them design it so I would know it would hold the weight. I’m hoping it will be pretty straightforward to work with, and it has rails for future expansion, like if I want to use it to support my lights.

I made my stand out of 6" aluminum channel, granite top, and oak skin.

I’ve always thought if you have any skills with tools and wood if you can see it you can make it just remember how much weight you’re going to put on it

Since my 90 gallon is mounted in a wall, it didn’t need to look good, just functional.
Of course a view from the display side. The tank is currently cycling.

Just put finishing touches on cabinet and canopy also cleaned tank real well and put it all together to see how it looks

This is my super quick stand, I'm not a huge fan of the size of the canopy but I'm tired of having fish laying on the floor. Currently trying to design something the hold all the Apex gear it hide the wiring, but I'm waiting till the doser pumps and ATO get here. FYI rope lights are awesome for lighting up your sump area.
