Looking for ideas and inspiration for future plans.
What kind of flow and par are you running your torch and gonis in?

Sadly, I'm just down to a single multi-headed indo torch (BJD striketh), but here's a quick craptastic iPhone shot of a cluster of flowerpots (goniopora, alveopora and we think the third is a bernardpora).

This is a simple goni with simple coloration but it's SO FLUFFY. When fully extended it's about 3-4 inches across.

He got angry with me when I apparently moved the random flow generator away from him and hasn't been as fluffy since then (I was catching a fish and probably bumped it) This one seems to like mid-level, random flow.

Torches back left in 200 to 250 par. Gonis front lower down in 150 par.

Aaaah, so beautiful. I think gonioporas are one of my favorite corals and these prove why.

I've notice they like mag above 1400 but nothing unusual.

I run my mag around 1500 but don’t dose. WC keeps it pretty steady to the point I test every 6 months now. I do dose manganese regularly and iron every couple of weeks. They seem to respond well to both.

Current guess would be 200 to 250 tbh havent officially tested but seeing some others with same light and depth and light percentage i am right around that. I got med high random flow on them currently with gonis being low to med random. Using ice cap gyres side mounted on right and rear on left set to gyre mode. Running right side at 75% and rear at 35%. Also have a continuous wave maker top left side cresting water and hygger mini bottom right set to full random about 7in away from goni rack.
