Tim, can you go through your dosers? What are you dosing as i see 7 pumps? Im am considering this method and thought only 3-4 pumps was needed. If you need 7-8 pumps that can add another $200-600 to the project for a multipal dosing pump depending on brand.

I am currently using 6 channels, 1-3 for the elements (I combine 3A&B) 5-6 Vanadium, Manganese, and Iodine.

If you choose to add additional traces then they can be added by hand weekly if you don't wish to use an additional doser.

Well, this is what I ended up with! :)
A few more pics and details can be seen in my build thread.

The tank is an Elos 120xl which is around 126g. The refugium in this sump is about 20g.
There are 1/4" water line holders above the skimmer section and above the return section.
Which would be the better spot for my dosing lines?

I'd guess the return section as that's where I usually see them and it makes sense as they will then go through a bunch of flow. However I don't know if it is necessarily "better". In the skimmer section I'd think what you are dosing could possibly be (only partially) sucked up by the skimmer, which may do nothing bad for the additive your dosing, but that would be my only concern other than maybe low flow in there.... other than that I don't see any negatives to using the skimmer section. I just always make sure what I'm dosing isn't near any probes. I'd go with the return section but I'm not the almighty d2mini...hopefully some others can chime in who know more than me

Nice, where did you get them from?

They are Voss 800ml water bottles.
I just scraped the lettering off the glass with a razor blade and painted the caps. ;)
These will do until demand gets too high and I need to find something larger.

Here is a dosing container I made from a container I ourchased at Dollar Tree.

Here is my new sump that I just built this week. The build is 3/8 cast acrylic for the exterior walls and 1/4 for the baffles. The chambers are from right to left...small box in corner for feed from tank, that chamber is also the chaeto chamber designed roll roll it (will take some tweeking of the fins at bottom...next chamber is fuge...then skimmer and finally the return. I have also built holders for dosing lines, ato etc...new macro is on the way so I should have it in by the weekend.
