The ATK, while finicky, can work well, and integrates nicely with the Apex. I've read great things about both the Tunze and the Spectrapure. My Avast always worked perfectly.

In 10 years of doing this I have never had an ATO until the tank I am currently setting up. I got the ATO to provide stability and to cover for my laziness. Now I realize just how poor a job I have really been doing. Even if I had been topping off daily (which I haven't), there is no way I could match the multiple times a day this thing does. Required equipment now as far as I am concerned. Oh, mine's a Tunze.

Trigger systems 5gl ATO tank with Marine Depot ATO Pump kit. Comes in real handy when I'm on Vacation & I only fill it up once a wk. No more having to add water everyday or 2 to the sump.
