Lifegard 4.1 pico tank

On the shelf above this small water box is a soil box with a tarantula, on the shelf above that some plants. I'm just a weirdo, no cats anymore and the dog is an angel who doesn't mess with anything.
Not a weirdo. My son keeps ts and scorpions. We raise roaches for them.

The statue completes this tank.

Happy new year!

My first casualty in this tank :(

Guess she wasn't a fan of the increased flow

But here's a decent top down. About to do a water change and pull the bleached acro - if there's any flesh I'll pop it in the big tank somewhere to see if it comes back.

Upon further inspection........

Looks like the new pump to increase flow and push through the reactors upped the temp to 84f. I assume that was the culprit, not the increased flow. Turned the flow down a little to see if that will make a difference, if not I'm going to have to rethink some things. Back to the old pump without the reactors? Try to rig a fan or something to help cool? Any additional recommendations?

Just sharing some northern winter with you southerners

It's so pretty! I'm sure I'd change my mind in a heartbeat if I lived in it though.
