I've been in FL my entire life, despite traveling all over the US I have still managed to miss seeing snow in person, ever.

Woah. That’s crazy. I had a snowfall fight a few months ago. I admit it’s fun.

hi,not sure if backing down pump will decrease temp,yes on fan,going to increase evap ,salinity i 5 gal though
you must go play in snow at least once!! then hightail it back south

I'm not seeing a significant change, it dropped .6 degrees but not enough to feel like it made a difference. I didn't think the old pump would be strong enough to power through the reactors without getting really weak flow at the end.... but I might give it a shot and see. Might be overthinking everything. Wouldn't be the first time.

We went to Savannah for a weekend in 2019, snowed the weekend before and the weekend after we were there. Was just cold and angry the weekend we were there instead.

We went to Savannah for a weekend in 2019, snowed the weekend before and the weekend after we were there. Was just cold and angry the weekend we were there instead.

I think everybody should see snow at some point. There is nothing better than being in the woods during a heavy snow. Its so quite you can hear the snow land. Very peaceful

Since I felt like a flaming garbage can yesterday I didn't do any of the things I wanted to do before work. I didn't even go to work, I went back to bed. All. Day.

Today, with nasal steroids and mucinex, I was functional for work. Tomorrow, now that I have the magic spray and can control my sinuses, I'll be trying to rerun the stuff with the old pump to see if it's strong enough and if the temp drops back down again.

I have a sinus infection, but I can't take time off to recoup and heal because I *also* have my annual physical inventory Monday night and we're in the middle of prepping for that

So you know... like my face is about to explode.

What's really fun is working a pallet of 30+lb dog food with a fever from your terrible sinus infection, but not being able to complain about it cause you might spook the youngins. I promise it's just a sinus infection work kids, I don't have covid, this happens 2x a year like clockwork...

Also I had to take 2 benadryl from driving a load of timothy hay to another store. Which I'm allergic to. I loaded my car in the afternoon and allowed it to MARINATE in there for 4 hours because I obviously make good choices. Got to that store wheezing and scratching my arms like I belong in Polk county. But, 2 benadryl means no sleeping for me tonight because it has the opposite effect on me

I love Savannah so much. I want Savannah to be my vibe. The school I’m going to for Mortuary Science & Funeral Service is only fifty minutes or so from there

Pretty sure I've decided to add sand to the tank, not a deep bed though. Also, it needs to be black.
Where can I buy black sand in less than 10lb bags.....

Annndddd, I got the temp down by sizing back down to the other pump which was smaller, cut the flow down too as I suspected. Some of the corals seem disappointed. Might need to see if I can find the worlds smallest powerhead.... Any recommendations?

Not sure on first one. And Hygger Mini Wavemaker. That’s what I use it was a wee bit too much for a ten gallon though. But it’s also smallest I’ve seen.

run a magnet through the dry black sand,before using,get the iron particles out
