you have to offset the mount from center about 2 inches, 6 inches up from waterline as per BRS testing........but man you hear about the shimmer on these but you dont realise how good it is till you see it in person
Radion xr15’s have to be my pick for you. Mine do perfectly for my 32 gallon and I’m sure it could light up a 40 or even higherHey everyone so I’m already considering upgrading the Biocube 32 stock led lighting. It’s way too white for my taste I like more blue much better and I want more par. So I was thinking the nanobox upgrade but then I figured out I might be moving next year and I couldn’t take the tank with me so it would be a waste to buy them. If I do move next year I want to take the light with me so I can use it on a new tank I’ll get. My new tank will be 40 gallons max and most likely a cube. What light do you guys recommend upgrading to? I was thinking either an AI Hydra 26 or a Radion xr15 g5 blue. What do you guys think? An I’m ok with taking the top off too.
Bit pricy thoRadion xr15’s have to be my pick for you. Mine do perfectly for my 32 gallon and I’m sure it could light up a 40 or even higher
How is the spill over of light? I sit about 5 feet from my tank while I work all today. Did you say you got an Octo lid? Do they effect the light getting to the corals? Did you get an ATO for the evaporation without the lid?

i didnt even notice. Do you think you can share some pictures? I would highly appreciate it. To see what you mean about dremmeling off the pin for the stock lidIt looks like you posted a couple wrong photos haha. I actually went with a radion xr-15 with the rms mount and the only thing I had to do was dremmel off the pin mount for the stock lid for it to fit. The light kind of sags a bit over the tank since it’s so heavy but it works.
