the last dry tank I did I got no algae and blasted the lights just to see what would happen. once you see fuzz and algaes etc you need to starts adding snails any way.
It was a good experiment too. I left the tank completely empty and blasted it with light. it got really gross(no green algaes or cyano). I scrubbed it. It got gross again, I scrubbed it again, and added snails only. Has been clean ever since.Exactly....
