can i use a freshwater aquarium lighting system for a FOWLR set up?
What fixture we talking here?
I thought I may need 2, can I change the lights myself?
I don't have a picture of it. I move next weekend so I am going to buy it after I do but I plan on getting the 120 gallon by Innovative Marine. I have only done freshwater up until this point, but my tank is a 47 gallon, I wanted to go bigger when I do the saltwater. I won't go to do this until end of April-early May, I am just trying to do my research now and figure out what I need so I can do it once I am ready.
Doing a research will benefit you from making mistakes in this hobby, you're up to a good start.
And no on the chance of light for the link you send on here.
Do you mean no on using the light all together or no on changing the light? Sorry. Haha
Should i go with something like this instead?

If you are doing saltwater, I would get a light so that If you decided to add coral you can then you will not be putting out double the expense. Metal Halide is going to run hot and you will be looking to find a way to cool you water temp. Are you on a budget?
Do you have a suggestion of another kind of light I could use?
Yeah, it would be possible
