Lincoln's Reef

Just realized I posted about some new additions in the 30L thread but never updated my own thread.

I added an icecap 1k gyre and I am loving it. I removed the jebao pump I had in the tank previously as it isn't necessary anymore. I run ramping pulse of 4 seconds 10% all the way up to 100% during the daytime hours and don't have any problems with blowing sand, but most detritus stays suspended for a long time in the water column. At night I have 30% pulsing flow.

Had a bit of a bump when my doser accidentally overdosed some two part and my alk shot up to 10.2dkh [emoji15] but after some water changes and stopped dosing I have the alk back down to 8.4, which is a bit lower than I was shooting for but I can slowly tweak it up now that I have things dialed in with the doser.

The alk swing effected a couple of my frags, but I think the only complete loss was a small acro frag. I also have a little urchin that seems to enjoy picking up frags, hermit crabs, snails, etc. Which is annoying at times but i knew that was a thing urchins did going in, and it's doing a great job of keeping my rockwork clean.
