edit, the new #1 spot is keeping fish at all in boxes when they could be swimming around the ocean. tough to rectify. have at it.
post #41 I thought called it accurately.
1 formerly now #2. the golden spot: Fish quarantine and fallow yes / no
the eternal battle between someone's home reef and what we can align 200 others reefs to do. what are zoos doing/the big picture. That's #1, and nothing's a hotter topic than what new reefkeepers should be doing or not doing to lower the incidence of disease wipeout in half a year.
2/3. Does my reef fail to control ammonia after a cycle?
-second most hottest topic in reefing, relationships destroyed over the matter as duels erupt. everyone cares about helping is the fascinating driver- its not a bunch of passives involved in the troubleshooting posts. Bad cycle calls produce dead reefs, this is simply a flammable subject online. Decades of reef cycle training are coming to a head and being tested in pattern threads, with new meters...evolution front seat. what nh3 does in a reef tank might easily be #1 in someone's chem forum.
3. those are the only two I care about what's your additions to this list. peroxide used to be on the list but we've hammered it home now its common as saltwater in the hobby.
