Chaetomorpha on reverse light cycle, kalkwasser mainly for calcium, alk and pH but also the added benefit of possibly binding phosphate and bi- weekly water changes.

A big Bill Wann skimmer with port to Inject lanthanum chloride
Injection port before feed pump

Didn't know he had that feature built into his skimmers. Smart guy.

I'm dosing Lanthanum Chloride into the feed pump of an Avast CS3 recirculating skimmer with a 1.1ml/min dosing pump.

bacteria and biopellets for me too , so far so happy my Hanna PO4 is reading 0 for the past couple of months with this method

I've gone through everything from bio pellets, GFO, algae scrubbers, and macroalgae. It's gone to a point where I have ultra low nutrients in the tank, I've taken the bio pallets off and GFO. All that's left is the macroalgae and algae scrubber. I'm still at low phosphates but I am trying to work that out by feeding more.

I;m trying this algae scrubber thing, but 2 weeks and 0 growth on the screen. But looks like alot of ppl are using GFO BRS. Thanks for everyones input

Can you describe you scrubber. I think an algae scrubber is the very best export method.

Would like to find out more info on your scrubber.

Yes do start a scrubber thread, or at least post pics here, so I can show you what to change so it will work. Usually people make the same first mistakes when trying their first one.

I built a waterfall type enclosed In a cabinet. The screen is 12 x 12 inches and it has 40 watts of LEDs on each side.
