I haven’t ordered from them since they did away with the build your own cleaner packs (over a year ago?) That said, I never ordered anything but cleaners from them. I had a mostly pleasant experience. I haven’t ordered dry goods since they had the drs foster smith website.

With all that said, based on what I’ve seen for reviews, and even their customer service responding here on the forum, I’d proceed with caution, buy dry goods, or if all else fails, run away and gift the gift card to the local reef club for one of their raffles lol

Diver’s Den is among the best quarantined fish you’ll find anywhere. The other stuff is hit or miss
Thanks for the input i am hearing good and bad but dd seems to be all good....so far at least i appreciate all the help

Say what you want about Divers Den, but at least their photographs are realistic as far as what you’re going to see in your tank. They don’t show you cartoonish photographs taken through colored lenses and ridiculous Windex-like lighting, that look absolutely nothing like what you’re going to see in your tank

Bro gift the gift hmmmmm sounds like a white elephant christmas party lol...thanks for the input and ypur experience with them i appreciate it.

I recently ordered 3 fish. 2 came from WI, 1 from LA. I live in San Diego. The fish from LA showed up upside down and was dead in a few hours. The fish from WI came in tip top shape and have thrived. I have a credit for the loss but I haven't decided what to do with it yet.

Thats crazy that two different locations with completely different outcomes. So make sure anything is coming from WI

I’ve seen this quite a bit, even outside this thread that the WI facility seems to be where the success is at

Shipments from California and Florida (ORA) are drop shipped from the distributor. Liveaquaria never handles that livestock. Items shipped from Wisconsin are their own handled and nurtured products. That’s why the Wisconsin items are superior in quality. The distributor in California sells to a lot of retailers, including Petco, I believe. I have their name written down someplace. If you need it I can get it for you.

So with them being drop shipped they go straight from ora to the shipping company.

I have made multiple purchases from LA and I have had great experience with them, there were a couple of mistakes and two fish that did not make the 5 day window. All of these were fix by LA. So despite some mishaps they always made good. I will caveat my statement with this was 2 years ago. I will order from them again and give them a fair shake.

Thanks for the response i appreciate it and im starting to think the shake might have to be given to WI

I was out of the hobby for 3 years. Before taking a break, I used to order everything from LA. Everything came from WI and I had great experiences. Going forward (when I use my credit) I will make sure it's coming from WI...but that's just me.

Kind of sounds like thats what im going to have to do.....thanks for the feedback i appreciate it

I would not buy coral, fish or frozen food from LA. They seem to have lost the ability to ship perishable items. They say they care, but the actions they have taken in the last 8-10 months prove otherwise.
Equipment or other non perishable items are the only things I would buy from that company if I had free money.
