Ok so i am putting in a sump with live rock and micro algae now should i still have 1 pound per galon in the dt or combine the 2

1-2 pounds/gallon but you could subtract your sump volume since no livestock are in there contributing to ammonia. And 1-2lbs/gallon is the minimum, the more the better.

Ok i have been buying my live rock like 5 to 10 lbs at a time because of how expensive it is so im slowley building up. Some times i wish i was rich so i could aford everything i want for my tank lol but i love the hobby so i do what i can.

good deal.

they lay eggs every month,at least mine have..but i guess snails eat them up...

yeah i would emagin the do expecally when they are in the open like that

but they get ugly and mean when other fish come by, sometimes they will slap snails but im sure its at night when there resting..I could take the rock out and put them in other tank but I heard its pretty hard to raise.

and i dont think you can take them out of the water right and i do have one last question what should i use for a light thats not to expensive
