i got a 23 watt spiral bulb from Lowes, Says Daylight on its only like 5 bucks.get one of them clamp on lamps too
My cheato grows like weed..(well not weed as in weed) u know plus i get coraline all on rocks down there too,have it run at night,keeps ph steady..

Yes ,Its very good,but watch out cause once it starts taking off it spreads fast..

Funny about year and half ago i started with a 7 gallon tank,now im at a 120,but wanting bigger...but theres 1 thing slowing me down.

I know what you mean i started with a 30 about 3 monthes ago and now i have a 55 and im just gitting my first sump and lising to everyone on this site makes me relize how little i know about the hobby and everyone seems willing to help and offfer what they can. I wish there was a local club or seciety where i live that meet and stuff like that so i guess i will have to maybe start one of my own lol.

Well im not a big fan of clubs,which im in one but dont go to meetings.Just like my Mustang club seems like all others do is tell me what i need to do,I know what i need to do..but if they would fund the things i need to do i can do them lol....I love this hobby and im hooked,trying to save up for the radion led lights but i need 2 and thats 1500 bucks..right now only got 6 t5 and 2 vho,which is enough light but the power and bulb replacement will eat me up in the future..

If theres any other questions i dont mind helping but I still have alot to learn myself..

I do watch Mr.saltwatertank tv on you tube,Thatguy knows his stuff.

I will have to watch that and the problum where i live is that there is only one place in 100 miles of here that sells saltwater fisch and equipment we have a pet smart but they dont sell saltwater and there salt water equipment is far and few between. and i need better lights myself the light i have a aqueon light with 2 bulbs one is a colarmax bulb and the other is a just a regular fish tank light so probly not the best for saltwater and corals.

If i was u but this is just my opinion I would spend the 7 dollars more and go with the Mag 700, Alot quieter pump and are u going to use hose or pvc to run the overflow.

also have u checked on the dry good forum for used ones? theres always pumps on there and u could get a good deal
