Live Tank Video Feed

Yeah I had to install app from play store. Took all of about 5 minutes or so to get online. Whats cool is you can share viewing permissions with wife in case your phone dies you always have that added cushion of addiction support if you needed hahaha.
I came in here to enable but have a feeling I'm going to leave enabled to pick up the version you got hahahaha
Do it!!!!!!! I was going to use wyse, but got an awesome deal on a ton of blink cams and they work with my Alexa and cloud storage I already have, so just made sense.

I'm pretty much 99% enabled haha. The night vision is slick. The version I have currently doesn't have that. Hoping this other version has same quality video:)

Ahhh Fudge! Should I return it. It doesn’t say V2 but I saw one that had V2 on the box. This was more expensive
You'd have to look at the model of the camera. Yours might be a different model (hence V1) with different features. You can compare the features online. In some cases you might not need a feature that makes the camera more expensive in which case return it and get the other one. Ex: I know you often pay more for pan/tilt functionality. This feature might be useful if you're using the camera for home security but maybe you don't need it to view your tank so you save a few bucks by getting the static view model. The newer camera might have better optics, etc so there could be other reasons why it's more expensive.

I was looking at the camera you bought so will be interested in seeing how well it works for you.

That is one thing about the blink I like. The night vision is awesome.

I was looking at the Blink cameras. They look pretty slick but pricey. Was the deal you got a one time thing for you?

I'm in the camera club, one for the sump, one for the display. I travel a bit for work, so having the ability to check in on things is great. Question, how do ya'll filter out the blue!?

I use an orphek lens I stepped on (dooh) and broke the ring. It is taped to the camera that is mounted behind the tv lol.

I also have some orange tint that works well.

It was just for me in regards to work. I will say, if you buy them in packs, they are not that badly priced, but most wyse are still cheaper, why I was going to go with wyse to begin with.

Oh man didn't know they made one like that. Interested to see how it looks!
May have to grab one and put the other one out in living room so I can harass pup when we go on vacation:)
Is it v2 @TnFishwater98 ?
I’m blind as a Bat, It says V2 top right. I thought it was a Trade Mark/Copyright symbol

Got it up and running, it’s going to definitely work for what I need it for and that is to monitor the fish room for any issues or alarms. I definitely need to get/use some filters because I use a lot of blue. So I’m going to look at filter suggestions. I have for phone camera and glasses filters but that’s not going to work. So happy I can call a buddy of tank is overflowing but not sure how good without a filter viewing will be...Yet
*** running errands will post when I get back

Awesome thanks. However I just found out they they can't do 24/7 live feed you have to refresh video feed every 5 mins?
Correct, but not correct. It asks you to continue every 5 minutes with no plan, but can leave it on tablet forever with a plan.

I switched from Wyze V2s to Eufy 2K and like the video quality much better; was never happy with the Wyze quality.

I guess I can post screenshots away from home...Lol
I guess I should post a update. I was gone for 8 days. I set up 2 cameras. I did not have a filter so I couldn’t watch my tank for entertainment but they did help me save one of my tanks. On day 5, I jumped on the camera app and sure enough my ATO alarm was going off. I called a buddy and he went over and pushed the button. If I didn’t get these cameras one of my tanks would of been really salty and water level would of obviously been low. So it’s definitely worth the investment if you don’t have a “Smart” tank. I need to work on filter options.
