liveaquaria professional reef salt

I switch back and forth, but recently bought 6 buckets of TMPR, and I’ll probably stick to this. There are ones I avoid outright though, namely RSCP.
I will continue to the IO purple box until they come out with the IO red box then I will switch until then It's all about the Color Purple :)

Honestly, I haven’t had a problem with purple box, except for some minor adjustments.

For those who asked and/or inquiring minds want to know....lol. I tested my Live Aquaria Reef Salt yesterday during a 45-gl WC.

Here are the results; which are very accurate to what the box/label states.

SG: 1.026
Temp: 73
pH: 7.9

Alk: 8.8 dkh
Cal: 430
Mag: 1440

Hope this helps...........

Bringing this thread back from the dead. This salt is awesome so far, I was using TM Pro Reef but this stuff is just as good and the price is awesome.

What exactly are you thinking about that makes it awesome, besides price?

With the current sale at Petco, I'm thinking of giving a 55# box a try. Hard to argue with $45 for the 55# box.
