Just wanted to post some positive feedback for a change! I have called LiveAquaria many times in recent weeks to add items to shipments etc..etc... They are always extremely courteous and have always been able to fulfill whatever request I ask of them :) Great customer service LA!

Thank you for the positive.:) I have also experienced great customer from Live aquaria in the past also

I’ve had mostly positive experiences except recently I’ve had them shipping the wrong fish or otherwise obviously unhealthy fish (more than usual). They’ve been great about making it right but I still hate losing fish so early..

I can agree that some of my items recently haven't been perfect, but they didn't hesitate to make it right. Unfortunately my last order was delayed and arrived in two days instead of 1. My shrimp didn't fare to well, nor the tuxedo urchin that I had ordered :( as soon as I told them they made it right though. Still haven't gotten my darn ornate leopard from my early November order to eat prepared foods. I tried everything under the sun, and have a copepod culture just to make sure there's no problems in the future.

I bought from them once, and had good experience. The corals I bought a year ago I still have and is doing really well!

I am not sure how affiliated they are with Drs Foster and Smith, but they've also been helpful with the equipment department. I've had an issue and they've refunded, no questions asked. Immediately.

A+ from me!

LA is Doctors Livestock branch. To my understanding.

Which is all part of Petco now....
Has been for a couple of years.
But LA/DD still has some of the best customer service in the industry.
DD has the better livestock, LA can be hit or miss drop shipping from Cali...
But any issues, they fix it!

I just made an order with DD on Monday, everything are smooth process and promptly inform me with the progression, I like that.
Now the issue is my order is delaying due to UPS late schedule or for whatever reason, I hope my live stock are ok and alive, other than that I'm quite ready to contact LA/DD and file a complaint of dead live stock and I hate to do that, it's really nothing DD can do it now but they should make a discussion with their shipping carrier management about priority time schedule for live stock, it's a living animals on the line.

Seems like there’s often problems with UPS shipping around holiday time. I placed two orders which both arrived late. Called and was informed that the regular shipping times are changed for the holiday season. Overnight packages can be delivered any time before the end of day instead of the typical before 10:30 AM

This time of year with holiday shipping you're totally rolling the dice with anything overnight. I refrain from any live stock orders altogether Thanksgiving - New Years. Between online shopping and weather delays its just not worth the headache IMO. The fact that a fish Ive been waiting to come in stock for months arrived monday is killing me though!!! Otherwise I agree with most LA has been great to work with always making things right if needed.

You can always purchase it and they can delay shipping for up to two weeks :) that would put you past the holidays at this point!

@Scurvy Ive never figured out where the option is to do it during checkout, but if you call after you place the order they’ll gladly change it for you to anything within the next two weeks. ;)

Just put it in your shipping comments, when you check out. I usually do "ship the XX DAY for delivery XX day. Never hurts to do a follow up call.

I've had some bad orders these last two I've had was awful sending me dead coral or the wrong coral all together.
Besides that they always refund me which is awesome but i really dislike them letting UPS kill my corals because they let it sit in a cold place for over 24hrs

Also i noticed LA shipments don't fare well on making it here to Indiana very well.
I've had better experience when ordering from Divers Den in Wisconsin so much closer.

I agree with this. My last DD order contained a fish that should have never even made it in to a bag to be shipped. Torn fins and a huge chunk missing out of its face. After spending additional $$$ on medications she still didn't make it in the end. Customer service was great as always when it came to the refund. I do wish they would update their site though for looking at past orders, photos of the items you ordered, and amount of your credits on file.

I do wish they had past order lookup also. When buying from divers den I always take a screen shot that way I have it on file with the purchase number. I have ordered 8-10 orders in the last 2 months rebuilding my 300, had two corals shipped (not divers den, but they were CCGC) that I felt were incorrect. Sent an email with pictures, they called me back and offered to credit me, I asked them since it was two different specimens if they would reship, they said no problem, even let me add on to they order they shipped on their dime. When they work with me like that it's hard to not want to order again. (Come to find out, they only sent me one wrong coral, their ssc acro is a little misrepresented on the web site)
