loki2902's 120 gallon escape

Thanks Barb! I am loving this case that allows me to put my phone in the water! It helps (I think) with the pictures. These aren't the best by any means but they are better than before.

Yesterday at our meeting I got a 6+" squamosa clam. :)

Let me know what you think.

It's foot. I don't know what to look for so I thought I'd throw a pic of it up.

I currently have this guy on the sand. Of there is a place that it would be better to put it please let me know.

Thank you!

I want to sell it :) come and get it. It's not responding to my tank the way I wanted it to.

Lol. If I make a trip up to Arkansas and you still have it I'll take you up on that. I'd hang on to it if I was you!

Your tank is coming along nicely and I can't believe how good your cell phone pics are.

We're not clam experts by any stretch, but squamosa's are sand dwelling clams.

Hey! Marshal! That's just 7ish hours from here. I bet shipping would be cheap. If you want it let me know. We could work something out.

Thank you! I have the LifeProof case for my iPhone 4s. It is waterproof so I put my phone in the water to take pictures. I also normally turn the flow off. The case really helps.

I thought that but I remember a thread that said some like rocks until a certain size.

My tank is coming down in the next month or so to upgrade so I'm holding off on new adds for now. If you still have it by the time I get the new tank up I'll hit you up. It's a nice piece. I don't see blue ones everyday.

I know. I really liked it. It's the only blue one I have seen. I have dipped it in coralRX and have moved it around. I just can't seem to make it happy. I would rather it live in someone else's tank than slowly fade away in mine.

Well. I am down to three. One decided it wanted to feel the nice carpet a few weeks after I got him. So the three are in the tank and doing fine. The two black clowns are next the where the clam is now and the orange stays in the back of the tank.

I wouldn't give up on it. I have a red and green war coral that gave me fits for a year almost. Its probably the nicest coral in my tank now. I just left it alone and it colored up and started growing one day.

Thanks man. I'll keep at it and see what happens.

Very nice looking Squamosa, it is throwing me off though. It has the shell of a Squamosa and the mantle coloration/pattern of a Maxima.

Thanks skins. I noticed it didn't look like others.

Also. Is it normal to have the second area? It almost looks like two clams

this is what I am talking about. I just don't have much experience with them.
