Wow, to me that look like two mantles.

It looks like that to me, but I am new to clams do I am unsure.

I can get more :) I just turned the flow off. I'll snap some in a few minutes

Here are the pics I just took. I got new lights as of this morning so I will have to relearn how to take pics under this new temp.

Now, the extention of the polyps on the coral is amazing excelent work on that. The growth looks really good to and the colors are very bright green, what lights are you running

Thank you! :) the SPS started doing that last week when I put them on the frag rack next to the overflow.

I was running 4 ATI blue plus T5's with one actinic and a 10k bulb. Now I have 6 (different) ATI blue plus, one aqua white(?) and one ATI purple. Those were the lights that came in the new fixture I got. It's an 8 bulb TEK fixture. I have extra bulbs so I will play around and see what my tank likes.

good looking 120g, thats the size i use for my chalice delight tank. Got some recent full tank shots?

I was getting around 200 par for the top of my rocks and from 60-90 on my sand-bed. I Have noticed the acans have colored up nicely in about 50-70 par. The rainbow monti lost the color in its base with 150 par so the new lights should really help bing out the colors in it.

I am currently getting about 400 just under the water surface. My hands weren't clean enough to go into the tank so that's the only measurement I have as of now.

Thank you! I don't have a recent one. I have been working on another project and have let the stand get cluttered. Once I get it cleaned up I'll take some pics.

ooh and fyi your 'squamosa clam' im pretty sure is actually a maxima
the give away is your picture of the bysus opening. Squamosas at that size dont have a large opening, most are actually sealed shut because they are a sand dwelling clam

There has been a few things said about that. It was shipped as a squamosa and the shell looks like one. I am new to clams so I don't know a lot about them. :) I still like it.

ya another give away is the scutes... in maximas they are pretty close together like yours. In squamosas they are widely spaced apart
