Long term success with jabeo pumps

Wow,, I'm still going strong with mine ,, 9 months so far

Never had any problems as long as I clean them in vinegar every 3 months. I have one wp 25 I neglect in my 60 gal mixing barrel. I've only cleaned it one time in 6 months. Impellar locked from heavy calcium build up. After a vinegar bath its back to normal running 100% constant flow. I had more issues out of my ecotech mp pumps for sure.

How are you guys cleaning your pumps?

I soak them in 50/50 water to vinegar. Then disassembled and scrub with tooth brush. Just don't leave them soaking for more then 12 hours or so if longer just use less vinegar.

You could also use muriatic acid much faster but you need to read up a little more about it.

I clean my pumps weekly as it makes it much easier and I think you would get more life. Out of your pump.

I have had a 25 running for 7 months that has been cleaned (RODI and vinegar) twice and is working great.

Yup. And now there are us distributors who will send warranty parts and pumps just as fast.

That "customer service" justifies price pedastool is getting weaker every month. I can buy 5 wp40 for the cost of one mp40 so even if they blow up after a year I still break even. If ecotech pumps were bullet proof this would be a different story but they aren't. I know a lot more people that have went from ecotech to Jebao than the other way.

Yes, I am in this hobby on a tight budget but I also understand you get what you pay for and I was that way in tournament paintball, sport bikes and stereo equipment but I'm am also open minded enough to know some things are not priced based on quality of the product.

I have had very good customer service for my Jebao pumps and no questions asked when I called and told them I had a broken prop shaft. They were ready to ship a new one when I fessed up that it was a test.

I bet he got his replacement part pretty fast though

To bad the replacements parts cost more then the Jebao's brand new pump. That is why I switched over actually. Got tired of buying wetsides and sending in controllers to be fixed.

They have warehouses in New Jersey and California now. I emailed fishstreet when mine quit working and they sent a new pump no questions asked. I ordered a 25 and it was here in a week
