Long term success with jabeo pumps

You guys can defend your cheap chinese products all day long. It wont convert me from buying a superior product, which I bought used over 2 years ago and is still running strong. I understand people are on a budget as am I, but there are just some things that are worth saving up for.

I know that there will always be a percentage of folks not happy with their ecotech or tunze pumps and will just have an overall bad experience with them, but I also guarantee over time the amount of gripes and complaints will far outweigh them when it comes to the Jaebo pump.

Why does everyone feel the need to state their opinion when it's not relevant to the thread? We all know that they are cheaper than others. This is about hands on experience.

Converting you is not my problem. Your "big surprise" trash talk is rude, uncalled for and undeserved. There are plenty of threads for an open discussion of product comparison, this isn't one of them.

+1

OP asked about long term use. My 25 was the first US shipment with the new controller and has been running full time without a hitch.

6 months, no washes, lots of flow! Not as quiet as my koralias or vortechs, but wow do these move a lot of water for the money!

However you seem to perceive my comment is your choice.... And being that this post was made on a local club forum where people know each other, they can understand where I'm coming from. My comment was not rude in any way at all. It was based on the general knowledge that a chinese company copied a tunze design then called it something very similar to a quality product by ecotech. It is no secret that most chinese products are inferior, and I for one like to support American made quality products when I can. This is my opinion and I am able to post something like that here on my local club's forum. He plainly posted his experience with his pump and I wasnt surprised at all. Therefore a little sarcasm(which I am known to be a champion at) is how I responded.

I am sorry to derail the thread from the original post, but I cant simply ignore accusations when they are undeserved as well.

I just wanted to know about others experience with these pumps. I didn't want a debate on which is better or inferior. I own both tunzes and jabeos I can decide for myself. But thanks for the vinegar tip I will try it with my new cheap Japanese pump ;)

It's all good man. I'm glad you posted about it. Haven't seen you post on here enough. And btw, it's Chinese. Lol

What kind of tank are you running? Or better yet post that in another thread.

Hater's gonna hate. I think Chris is just jealous. He comments so much on these types of threads, it seems as though he has a pump inferiority complex goign on. :noidea: :boink:  :D

LOL... I'm sure that was 100% accurate. :)

I've had a wp40 for about a year still going strong. I have tunze as well, I'd trade the tunze for another jebao.

Also vortechs are made made in China, maybe designed in US and maybe some assembly in the US , but manufactured in China.
