Looking for 2-part to compliment TM A & K

perhaps you misunderstood what I wrote. “Cannot be optimal for all aquaria” only means that there is at least one aquarium for which it is not optimal, and that is guaranteed to be true.

I think you may have interpreted it to read as “cannot be optimal for any aquaria”, which I am not claiming based on my rationale for the statement.

Yes, I keyed in all. But then wouldn't that also be true with other products mentioned?

Yes. It adds trace elements ina fixed proportion to alk and calcium, which cannot be optimal for all aquaria. A tank with slower growing or fewer hard corals corals may not get enough and a tank with faster growing and more hard corals may get too much.
somewhat off topic, but, have you heard of Reef Elixir? Do the claims this product makes seem feasible? I've been using it for about two weeks now and have had no negative effects. https://oceanartusa.com/shop/ols/products/reefelixer1

A separate trace element mix can be dosed independent of alk dosing. It’s still not perfect since it ties several trace elements together, but it is a potential improvement.

I’ve not seen folks report using it. It claims

ReefElixer™ is an innovative, unique and concentrated all-in-one dosing product containing KH, CA, MAG, Trace Elements, bacteria, vitamins and amino acids in the correct ratio to provide a healthy coral and fish environment. ReefElixer™ is the only product that combines all these ingredients, eliminating the need to dose several products. ”

I’d question the presumption that dosing bacteria, vitamins and amino acids” are “needed” at all, so I guess replacing that need is a low hurdle. lol

Sounds like All for Reef with some other stuff added.

Its slowly increasing in popularity near me, so I figured id ask you. I guess the best help for us would be for someone to test it. I'm not sure about the amino acids, but there is definitely a carbon source in it. I feel that the claims of the extras like vitamins, enzymes, endospores, probiotics, and zooplankton might be just a marketing thing.
