Copy that. I plan to have pet rocks for a long while!

Once my tank is fully cycled... When will I know when to add a CUC?
And what kind of clean up crew should I get?

Welcome. Just be patient with your tank. Enjoy the time you have building your own version of the ocean. Don't hesitate to ask when having problems or just general information. Happy Reefing

I like #3 and #4. Not too much risk for dead space with the right powerhead placements, great look, nooks and crannies to keep your fish happy AND lots of coral placement options!

I really like 3 and 4 best but they all look good. Good luck!

One thing I wish had been suggested to me before I set up my tank was putting some plastic crate (sorry, can't think of the exact name of it right now) down before I poured my sand and placed my LR.

Here is a pic of the "plastic crate" I'm talking about...sorry that the picture is side-ways, but I don't think orientation is as important as just having the visual.

Says the guy with the beer bottles in his scape!!! :D

Aren't you the one always preaching about "Whole foods" being important? Who says some fruit isn't as important as fish guts?

You got me.

It is often referred to as lighting diffuser.

Eggcrate

So of course the setup of my tank got pushed back... because of life and stuff.. Stupid being an adult! So I cant to put my rocks away. This weekend I should be able to fill her up and start the cycle and I am going to wing it with the rocks. I will try to do my best to get the #3 look I originally had.

Hey! I wanted a few apple in my scape :(

What would be the benefit of using the eggcrate?
Keeps the LR from sitting directly on your glass should you push down too hard when positioning. Also helpful holding frags in place that you put on your sand bed.

I'm still super stupid confused about media. Does anyone who has one of the IM Nuvo fusion models with the dual overflow help me out?

There seems to be SO many options and it's making my head spin! What should I use where and when?
