Looking for a reef safe angelfish

I've been looking for some wantanabe soft a while too

I have an emperor and a lemon peel. Neither are model citizens. Lemon peel nips at SPS from time to time. Emperor actually bites the tips off SPS. He only does it to certain corals though. He often "trims" my blue matrix. I've noticed he does this if I cut back on feeding. I try to keep him stuffed with nori.

He doesn't touch shrooms, or euphylia. He will mow down gsp and will eat the flesh right off of chalices.

That said, he's pretty awesome and I'm not even remotely considering getting rid of him.
Funny, my tank has GSP growing all over the back and large rock in the center. I've never seen my emperor look at them. No SPS, can't keep them alive, only leathers currently. When I've had torch and hammers, he never bothered them either.

Had a coral beauty that didnt mess with coral as longas he was fed daily. Beautiful fish too.

Also, had a flame I had to trap to get out because he ate exclusively gsp lol

I have a flame in a mix reef. I have not seen any danamage to any my corals. And I have not seen him nip any of my corals. But I do know there is a risk.

Had a swallowtail for a few years, loved it but for some reason it became a jumper. Still have a midnight and a coral beauty no problems.

Well I've had my cherub for about 3 years now and alls been great up until about a week ago !! One of my chalices is either STN'ing on me or it's being eaten alive !!! I'm always at work so I don't know who's doing it or what's doing it , but I have no other coral eaters so I'm blaming the cherub!! BAD FISH!!!! ... Sad face

So, in my 120, I have a few small corals and colonies that I have been able to pick up for a decent price at my LFS. Tank has been going pretty well for over a year. I have a couple of tangs (yellow and hippo have been around pretty much since the beginning). Diamond goby still does his job and cleanup crew gets refreshed and does his job.

Now, ANGELFISH. Coral Beauty has been with me for about 8 months and then about 5 months ago, I fell in love with a medium sized Koran Angel and brought him home. To my surprise, he doubled in size in about two months.

My wife bought me a gorgeous naso tang for my birthday in September. It never really ate and eventually died. Then, I tried to introduce a "smallish" sailfin tang and the Koran and hippo destroyed it.

Want to add a couple of more fish to keep the motion going in the tank, but am afraid that they are going to meet with the same result!

Guidance? Anyone?

Had an emperor that ate zoas, currently have an aiptasia eating flagfin, a small Red Sea regal and a black spot swallowtail. The flagfin, which I have had for almost ten years, has a handful of corals that it deemed appetizing over the years but usually when I first put the coral in the tank. For the most part it's been a model citizen though it is top fish in the tank.

What is the pinkish fish called right at the bottom of the blue tang? It is really pretty and is it aggressive?

I would say start a separate thread for this

Watanabei Angelfish - are they safe around inverts? (i.e. Cleaner shrimp, snails, hermit crabs)

Thanks for any info.
