Rare mushrooms [emoji265] 1k !! [emoji23]

Creative aquatics (I think that's what it's called) on Dale Mabry in Tampa gave me some that infested my tank when I picked up coral from them. Great store otherwise and it was obviously my fault for not taking proper precautions.

Dale Mabry is very close to me. But they seem to be a maintenance and install shop ... Do they have a retail store?

Nope, no starfish they will starve.
Many ppl keep a large sand shifter in the sump and once a week they cut a little of a leg (don't worry it will grow back) as it will eat that.
Always keep asterinas in the sump when you have a Harley as a back up.
I just found 2 and a half stars in my sump ... I got his lunch taken care of.... But still needs tomorrows meal.
Amazing that one little Harlequin can consume over 1000 stars in less than a year....
I should of put a couple hundred stars in the sump when I had them and knew they were dwindling. ...Live and learn

Yeah. It's a great store. Not as big as coral corral but I still stop by every time I'm in town.

If you have a pair of the Hawaiian Harley's you better have a few starfish in your sump.
I get the very large sand shifters for wholesale from my LFS as he won't sell them any way as to most hobbyist they ain't cute.
So do you just break off a leg ... Or do you put the big star in the tank....And if you're feeding a leg, do you just cut a piece off and drop in... I thought they need live food?
Buying star fish for his lunch will get to be pricey...
Want to find someone who has abundance of stars they are getting rid of....Put them in a baggie and send to me... Don't like the idea of feeding a leg.

What I've read of others doing is buying 2-3 chocolate chip starfish. They cut a leg off of one every few days, it doesn't kill the starfish or anything and if you time it right the stars will live quite happily in your sump indefinitely

The leg or a piece of the leg will grow back.
It happens on the reef too.
