I put in a Wyse last week. You just can't beat the $20 price tag. Their install instructions and videos say they can be installed in 15 minutes. However, the install time is a function of age - it took an old fart like me an hour.

I use wyze on the end of my 6’ tank. Works awesome! And it sticks to the magnet on my gyre.

The Ptz model? Or another? Looking to maybe pick one of these up.

I picked up a couple of Yi dome cameras just to watch my house, I also use them to watch the tanks as well. Live stream, good pic, motion sensor, zoom. Not bad for the money.

I have a few YI home cameras also as well. Love them. I have one under my cabinet so I can see (and hear) how the skimmer and other stuff are doing. It can pan as well.

I’ve seen a discussion here somewhere, probably under the Apex thread of R2R. We need an HTTP camera.. it’s in the Apex Fusion “Big Book” for sure. I’ll look it up after work.

Check out the Wise or Wize or Wyze cam. $20, I have one, looks awesome, great reviews.

+1 or however many..these are very nice for the price. I have seen video feed from three states away. Def worth a try for the amount of money saved.

hi All! I use the Neptune Apex Fusion to monitor a bunch of stuff on my system! It does have a camera feed to easily set up inside of it, but I cannot seem to get it to work with the 2 little cameras we had laying around the house. Does the Wyze cam work with Apex Fusion? If not, what cameras do work with it? We have 2 Samsung Smartcam little cameras and you can only view them from their online webpage, and this is the wrong format for the Apex Fusion! Or at least I cannot figure it out! I would love for it to all be in Neptune Apex Fusion.

I attached the page from their downloadable Apex manual. It looks like I didn't remember correctly. MPEG ok. The part below about "determining your URL" tells you how to test your cam for compatibility.

The wyze cam repeatedly said I'd have to use their proprietary app to watch the video. If that's the case, and IF there is no URL you can copy and paste into a browser (and apex dashboard) it can't work.
