Title says it all, I'm looking for a place to buy wrasses online. I know Divers den ovbiously, but they don't alway have wrasses in stock. Any insight is welcomed. I'm more of a stick head so the whole wrasse thing is pretty new to me.

Bought probably 35 in past year. Picturesque aquatics, pieces of the ocean, NYAquatic, pet solutions.com has same warranty cheaper prices same exact source as live aquaria and free shipping after 99$, I've also had luck with hot reef

I absolutely despise bluezoo

Live Aquaria has male McCoskers, Labouts, Whipfins, Lubbocks, Red Velvet, etc. in stock right now. FWIW, I bought my male McCosker from the regular Live Aquaria, not DD. They sent me a super-male. No complaints at all!!!

I actually just pulled the trigger on a trio of female flame wrasses.I'm excited to see them eventually turn into a harem. Now that they're coming does anyone have any recommendations for future additions?

Quality marine sent it to you. Live Aquaria didn't know anything about it and would have charged you more lol!

Nice snag though!

You've got red and orange covered. Lineautus super male for purple and lines, exquisite for green, yellow "coris" for yellow, blue wrasse are hard to find but I've had better luck with cleaner wrasse in past few years, get a pink margin for pink or something. More wrasses = less chance of serious aggression issues if breaking rules. Evolved and eatbreakfaat trump my wrasse knowledge im mostly speaking from my own experience. They've been in it longer than I (wrasses)

I got my labouts for $70 on live aquaria super special best deal ever

sometimes your best bet will be your local fish store. I have a good report with one local and I got a male katherine's wrasse for $50 and a super male pin tail for $120.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but don't expect that to happen. Upwards of a 90% chance you end up with 3 male flames with time; the species is notorious for transitioning regardless of a males presence in a closed system.

Yup. Experienced that myself.

In that case would I need to remove the other males? Or could they co exist?
Males of the same species will be more aggressive toward each other than to males of a different species. In most cases it won't work, but there are always exceptions.

Aren't sub males and males in transition still common in groups ? In that situation wouldn't the super male still be dominant enough to avoid death?

I could always trade for some Lineautus[emoji12]

I'm very excited about wrasses, it's all the color and collectibility of Acros but wrasses move!
