Looking for place to purchase wrasses online

Aren't sub males and males in transition still common in groups ? In that situation wouldn't the super male still be dominant enough to avoid death?
In the wild groups number in the dozens or more, so there are enough distractions and space to survive. In many cases in aquaria the new male has more vigor and does away with the super male.

The only problem is you can't frag wrasses [emoji16]
True, but males can be pretty bold with food, so catching one during feeding usually isn't too difficult. They also get pretty distracted by their reflection in a mirror, so they can often be caught while displaying and distracted.

tread carefully with them as they might switch
Yes, but will switch; not might.

Aren't sub males and males in transition still common in groups ?
Yes again, but as TJ point's out there's a lot more distractions, plus there's the space of the ocean to swim and/or hide if need be.
