Looking for some help with apex

They are the same. You just need a cord with USB plugs on both ends I have one of my power strips 6 feet from the controller and a normal USB extension worked fine

Do you know how to access the "classic dashboard"(not the fusion interface)? I would like to see what you get when you go to the module configuration page.

From configuration =》module setup click on the window to select the modules. You can see on my screenshot, it shows a couple of diplay modules, two eb8 modules (3&5), and the feeder module (AFS). Does your eb8 show up there?

I looked at it wrong sorry the status is green along with the brain is green. Still nothing when I try all the usb ports on the eb8 and the two on the brain.

You need to open a browser on your laptop/computer and type in the ip address of the apex unit (ie 192.168.1

.41). This loads the "classic" dashboard. If you are a little computer savvy, you can get it's ip from your router. If not, you can scroll to the networking screen on the little lcd control screen for the apex and get the ip address from there
Min is currently 192.168.1.41 yours will be slightly different

Good stuff. You are in the right place. Try what @nvladik suggested. Select the eb8 module, update it, then reset the apex unit. I would delete the wmx module for now...some people have had issues with eb8's dissappearing while adding the wmx. Just to rule out that issue for now

Reset is done the eb8 is relays are clicking on and off now

Woot! Glad to hear you are in business!! If you have any programming questions down the road...throw em up, lots of people here friendly and willing to help

Great! Drag them down to the main screen, re-lock it, then you can program each outlet by clicking on the gear icon beside it
Okay thank you so much. I would of never thought about going to the old dashboard and doing that. You guys helped me out big time thank you so much.
