Thanks! It's nice to get some progress done. I'm afraid I'm going to have to move that light switch... Its just too distracting

Dang that baby is sweet!

Can you just turn the light switch around to the other side of the wall?

The other side is stairs so no... My dad is an electrician so he will be moving it for me hahah... Just like a foot to the left

i think ebay had issues with him cause he was doing custom orders... or thats what i heard....

John has built me a great tank too. Love the rounded corners. He is back on ebay.
Rounded corners are very weak.. Ever notice all his tanks bow really bad??? Just saying.. There's cheap and easy ways to do stuff and then there is a right way.. fwiw Luke that's a nice looking tank but you might want to invest in a euro brace before filling that... Looks like 1/2" material It will bow a good 2" after being filled for a month or so...;)

thanks for the heads up... i know where to go if theres an issue!

Picture update!

Got my dad and my brother to come help me frame my fish closet today :)

We also tapped into the water softener line that was built into the garage... So my Rodi will be in there.. The waste will be routed outside into the sewer Line.

Here's a little description of the sump plan... Bottom rubbermaid will have live rock.. The return will come out of there... It will go into the wall to my tank in the kitchen, but first it will be tee'd off and will go to the top Rubbermaid which will be a fuge... That shelf will also have a qt tank ( not plumbed into system) from the fuge it will drain into the frag tank on the middle shelf, and from there it will go into the monster skimmer and back to the main Rubbermaid. I'll probably tee off the return for my gfo/carbon reactor and I'll leave a couple empty for future expansion (calcium reactor/ chiller) I'm Hoping I won't need the chiller... There will be lots of surface area for evaporative cooling between the 4x2 display and all the containers in the closet. I'll be using ATO and a float valve on the Rodi... And there will be some nice big fans for cooling. And then if needed we can do a chiller. My garage is pretty well insulated tho... We'll see I guess.

Onto the pics! (iPhone quality)

Rodi input

So that's it for now.. Future plans are to change to a livestock trough at the bottom... And acrylic frag tank... But we're off to a good start!
