MA Reefer250

I got him last friday and he is a Carpenter wrasse. I dont think he is going to make it past the night. I saw him under the rock today and he didn't look good at all.
My carpenter disappeared for a week or so when i added him too. He eventually appeared and has been ok. Hope he pulls through for you.

Thanks bud! Maybe you can give me some pointers on editing one of these days? Im a point and shoot guy since I got no skills! ;Snaphappy

That’s how I am these days, it’s much easier and turns out better I feel like. Almost like I’m having a conversation with others! Haha

You'll never believe this. The birdsnest you sent is still alive! I thought it was DOA after the crash. I found a small healthy piece growing!!! I'm super happy about that! So I still have everything.

Yay!! Always a nice surprise to find a little life after death!

I enjoyed the video. I have been reading about leathers giving off toxins and effecting sps/lps, you odiously have no issues, bummer about the wrasse.

In Dennis????? NS ! ! ! I used to spend 2 weeks in Dennisport every summer growing up

Losing the wrasse bummed me out. Was gorgeous and of course the priciest thing ive attempted to keep. Like kids you cant turn your back for a second!!

I cant say for sure the leather hasnt caused any harm. I went a long long stretch without running carbon and ive certainly lost a few corals for seemingly no reason.

Well home from a week at the beach. Tanks mostly did okay but we had a couple of mishaps. Nephew apparently cant read and didnt fill the top off container mid week. Lost enough water so the titanium heater shield melted. Got to it in the nick of time before major disaster ensued. Probably fire.

Otherwise no losses. Fish and corals were okay. Had a minor alk spike in one tank i think because he closed the windows i keep open for ventilation so CO2 shot up and sent PH on a nose dive.

Responsible 22 year old for the most part, no parties and did 95% of what was asked just a tad clueless with common sense stuff.

Dog is sick. Shes 14 and I noticed she was acting a bit “off” before we left but nothing alarming. Well that changed and she had a couple of accidents while we were gone. Lets just say a text or phone call would have gone a long way and that a 22 year olds version of cleaning it up left a lot to be desired.... yeah my place is quite ripe at the moment. To the vet we go on Monday.

I'm sorry your baby is under the weather. I'm glad the heater was caught in time.

Not much to update on. Tanks are all in disaray. About all ive done in the last month is fill the top up containers and feed. Glass is beyond filthy with hardend speckled brownish alage. Scraping its gonne be aweful.

Got a few teaser pics of the new tank though. Should have it in 2-3 weeks id guess. Sadly im not really looking forward to the work involved in the transfer but that should change once it arrives. New build thread coming soon!
