Mads' 180g

Hey! I'm excited to share my aquarium's growth with you all!
I upgraded to a 180g from a 72g bowfront when the latter started leaking in August of 2015. The 'new' tank was bought used after a teardown for close to nothing and I've had a fun journey from there! The tank has it's quirks, namely it's un-drilled and has a few 'character marks,' but being a student on a budget, I'm not complaining!
The tank was recently moved a second time, and the oldest fish, a pair of Ocellaris clowns, hauled to a new house for the fourth time in the past four years in early spring.
I'd like to use this thread mostly to chronicle coral and fish growth and just have fun with photography! Unfortunately I haven't had much time to bust out the camera recently, so the photos shown below are from about 4-5 months ago before the tank tear-down and move to the current house.

The masked goby is one of four added this past week. I've named him Wobbles because of his curvy spine.

Great photos! I can relate to the college budget reefing! Moving around all the time can make a reef tank difficult, but you've got some great looking photos and healthy looking fish!

New acro; unsure of name. Sold to me at a reduced price due to previous tissue loss from a stinging by another coral. It's healed since then and opened up immediately upon placing it in my tank, so I'm hoping for the best! I don't have much experience with sps and only have a few in my tank now, so depending on how this new guy does (hopefully well!!) I might just have to change that!

Coral is about 2" tall by 1-1.5" wide

Found a few throwback shots of the tank today!
from top to bottom:
1. Initial upgrade from the 72g to the 180g. Taken before adding inhabitants and all equipment was attached.
2. After a grueling week of assembly and a 4am inhabitant introduction night, it's all done!
3. The morning/afternoon after getting everything in. The skimmer was on the side there temporarily while I fiddled with the sump.
4. Sometime in the months following the upgrade and before the most recent move.
5. Within the first week of the current move.

The stand used to be stained a blue, as you can see in picture three, however, I stained it a charcoal grey almost immediately after everything was working so it fit better with the rest of the furniture.

I still have yet to put a background on this tank, something that sorely needs to be done.
