Thank you! I'm a huge fan of gorgonians because of the waving action coupled with the branching appearance, gives you the best of both worlds in my opinion!

I've had the majority of the gorgonians for only about two weeks, however, I kept one singly for about a year beforehand and never dosed anything. Regular water changes should be enough for them, especially since they aren't building a skeleton like the sps and lps corals. If you do try one, I recommend getting a photosynthetic gorgonian to start with as they're pretty resilient in my experience.

Had a bit of a scare last night! Unfortunately I came home to find my rockwork had collapsed (eep!) and spent the next three hours trying to piece everything back together without crushing any corals, inverts, or fish in the process. Thankfully there appear to be zero casualties and everyone's opened up and swimming around as usual! The collapse is very much my fault and I had it coming as I shifted things around a couple weeks ago adding new corals and decided to leave it thinking "eh, it'll be fine." I re-did the entire scape without even attempting to recreate a semblance of the old one and think it turned out nicely! The right side has more of a drop-off feel to it which I enjoy as my masked gobies have literally never swam to the left side and now just hangout in their own cove. The new scape also opened up a lot of room on the sandbed, which I like, so in all I think everything turned out alright! Excuse the algae on the back glass, I know, it's ugly. Its been slowly dying out, and the glass is the hardest to keep it off of.

So unbelievably stoked right now! I just started feeding my fish pellets about a week ago and all but the trigger and mandarin were chowing down. The trigger has been staring at the pellets like they're pieces of cardboard and then watching the other fish eat them with this sort of fascination. Today he finally ate one and obviously decided they weren't so bad because he started racing the other fish for them! Woohoo!
He started off so shy and getting him to eat was a bit of a struggle to begin with, so I feel like we've finally hit a major milestone!

Thank you!! The hardest part is lifting the massive thing up! It weighs around 400 pounds empty, so even carrying it a short distance starts to make your arms feel like they may pop off. LolI must say you are a brave one, I could not imagine moving a big tank like that! Just the transfer from my 75 to a 125 has got me traumatized

What stood out to me the most is one of my red mithrax crabs, which seems gargantuan in comparison to when I left! Also seems to have darkened up to a nicer cherry red. All I can get right now is a lame phone pic, but I'll try again with the better camera tomorrow. What a cool dude.

Three out of four of the new corals fully opened and were placed today! The fourth is another zoa frag, with about half the polyps currently opened. I'm hoping it'll settle in during the next couple days!
