you'll want your return pump and inkbird on the far right outlets as they're rated for more I think.
The rest can go wherever. You can rename the outlets from either the Apex Fusion site or the local site where you specify the on-off details for all your stuff.

Try messing around with it a bit; you cant break it.

Well I didn't get to work on the apex, but I did have to add the flame hawkfish to this tank. I tried going with the eel, but the eel wouldn't stop chasing and trying to bite him. Then tried the hawkfish in the 15 cube, but with no lid, he managed to jump into the overflow. So I netted him out and he's now in this tank. Hopefully he plays nice with all the smaller fish. I was really hoping he'd work in the eel tank for some color and movement there.

So far he looks fine, there was a little chasing from the 6 line at first, but he looks settled and on top of the rocks perching.

I did see another possible fish for the eel's tank I'll have to research on. But if that one didn't work with the eel there's no adding it to any other tank. Blue velvet damsel. Gets bigger than other damsels, has the right amount of attitude to theoretically work with the eel. But since the eel showed so much interest with the flame hawkfish I'm not so sure anymore. Fish at the store is about 1.5" maybe 2".

I actually did something! Now I just need to clean up the wires on the apex side(right), and bring all the stuff from the left over to the right. I'll be using the left side as the ato reservoir area and didn't want the apex and wire clutter over there.

It's my youngest son's 4th birthday tomorrow so I'm off for a while to bake the cake. He's into Minecraft so I'm doing a grass block cake, and I'll need lots of layers to get the cube shape. I also made a grass block pinata. Because.

Just catching up here - I may not be 4, but I like some cake and have played my share of Minecraft so we're gonna need to see this thing :D

PS: Keep posted on the Apex setup :D

So I've been so busy I haven't had much time for updates. My hubs is having vision issues and I've been working more to get him caught up and vehicles painted and out the door.

But I was able to grab a couple pretties from Montana the other day, on muh birfday. A pretty green moni cap, a forest fire digi and an unnamed stick, green with blue tips?

Also working on adding things to the apex power bar, had some trouble with the return pump outlet not staying on, but I think it was something with the "auto vs on" switch. On auto it kept going off after 10 minutes or so. Switched it to "on" and it's still on.

Here's some early first light pictures of the pretties.

So finally got my rodi semipermanently installed under the bathroom sink. No automation here so the bucket will be in the tub for any overflows. So far I love it, no taking up counter and sink space while watching water slowly trickle in. Plus it was easy to do. Looks nice and solid. Easy for my particular needs at this time.

I'm currently living through several old house renovations (fun), so the bathroom has no Sheetrock at the moment. And we will be replacing the sink. But for now I just hook up the lines and turn on the valve and I'm good to go.

Looking good! I don't have my RODI automated yet either, just point it at an empty 5g bucket and set a 1 hour timer on the phone :face-in-clouds:. Works for me, I don't use too much with this 55g tank.

Side note, how's your towel stock these days?! I think I need one in my life for the new tank location here, adding a small rack to the side of my stand...

We'll also have to discuss adding a Sasquatch/Reef themed version at some point :smirking-face:

I've got plenty of stock ready to make some new things! I def can squatch up a towel. That needs to happen.

Well I danced with the devil today and installed a new heater that's being 100% controlled by the apex ...... hopefully. One of those titanium heaters with no control knob so they must be run with a controller. I'm trying to use the Apex rather than the inkbird, because that's one of the reasons I got the apex, for control. I still have the inkbird there so if I feel like apex isn't doing it I can go back to the old way.

Scary.

Have some pictures.

I have the inkbird controlling the finer points of temp and the apex controlling the inkbird.

Basically, I don't want to wear down the relays in the apex unless absolutely necessary. I just have the apex watching over the Inkbird. (turns Inkbird off if too hot. alerts if too cold.)
