I've literally never seen a mag with tips like that.

I know me neither that’s why I had to ask , the lfs said it was a magnifica anemone....

Tight , it opened once when I was acclimate it to my water , it was in acclimation for 3 hours I didn’t want to take any chances...

I have read multiple times that mags have the ability to swell the tips up, I’ve always thought that open mouths on anemones were bad ?

No it hasn’t , it balled up a little at the lfs when the guy used a card to scrape it off the glass

That's my picture and the best way I can describe how the mouth area of a Mag should look. Devoid of tentacles and mouth not 100% closed.

Yes when I was acclimate it , it looked exactly like that, I’m leaning more towards anemone also because my clowns took to it immediately, the were hosting my hammer but the minute that I put my hand in the tank to place the nem my clowns wasted no time

Yup, the clowns is what has had me confused as Picassos will almost always immediately take to a mag. If yours looks like that when you put it in, regardless of the funky colors and funny inflation to the tips, the mouth area devoid of tentacles and the mouth just slightly open is how you positively ID a mag. Will be cool to see him color up.
