@clowner there is some that im still trying to get out. It keeps coming out of my rockwork. My 30 had sand in it so i have sand in everything thats slowly coming out of the rocks.

I have a pico setup just for that pairing[emoji14]as i was in the same boat when i upgraded tanks. Had a pistol shrimp in the rockwork so when i moved everything caught him and made a tank just for him and a yellow watchman goby. Love the bare bottom especially with no sump.

Pretty easy to blow detritus to a corner and suck it out. I just went bare bottom and I was wondering why sand keeps showing up. I never thought about it coming out of the rocks. good to know that's the likely source.

I have tons of spaghetti worms im my rocks as well so i know no matter what i do they have a good chunk of sand occupied so to speak. And my powder brown likes pickin them out of the rock so ill b cleaning it up for months

Alright REALLY liking this AI Hydra 26. This Favia was originally purple with lime green faces. Have noticed over the last couple of days that a nice vibrant red/pink is developing on its new growth. Hope it keeps coloring up!

Came home to find my blue green chromis in a lil bit of stress. My damsels spawn about once every other week and when they have eggs they are on a rampage. So finally pulled the trigger and caught the lil guy. Now im acclimating him to my Fluval Spec V. To hang out with my pistol shrimp watchman goby pair. Hope he doesnt stress them out. And if he does he gets to live the bucket life til i hit up my LFS next.

Tested water tonight. Just Alk which is 8.7 dKh and Ca which is 500ppm. So far things arent consuming much Calcium but im dosing 1 cap of seachem reef carbonate ever other day. Im guessing corals are still adjusting to the lighting. And with any luck my magnesium is fallimg but wont be testing that til next week. There is visible growth on everything so for now im happy :)Plus a couple pics of a few of my recovering coral.
Branching Monti of some kinda??

As you can kinda tell i like a lil bit of everything in my tank!

Some pics from tonight. Everything seems to be coloring up and growing like weeds. Did a waterchange earlier in the week just to clear some detritus that had settled. Also target fed everything last night so things are either looking perky as hell today or pooping like nobodies business today.

So just realized im going to be gone for three days over Christmas and have no tank sitter. Hopefully house will stay cool enough that evaporation wont be an issue. Alk consumption is only .3 dkh a day so can deal with that. Whatz everyones thoughts? Might come home to some angry fish since i dont trust auto feeders at all.

After 3 days of being gone everything seems to be no worse for wear. Aside from all the fish being super excited to see me aka the hand that feeds them. Will post pics tonight after i clean my tanks glass.

I am quite surprised with the only thing thats automated being my lights i came home to no issue. Tank needs a good 4 gallons of top up water and to be dosed a good 1 dkh in alkalinity by tomorrow. But all coral are still looking full and happy.

Only thing that has changed since i left is my Teardrop Clam has moved some. I knew it wasnt overly happy where it was since it had slowly been reorientating itself the week prior. But its connected to the rockwork with its byssal threads so just gonna let it keep moving.

Pic of my clam with its byssal thread out. Such a strange looking thing.
