Shes ok, she seems like shes blind due too when i try to pipette feed her, she bites off to the side. (Shes not blind though) I put some food in a snail shell and she ate a tiny bit Her belly is still big. The swelling went down a tiny tiny bit. If shes not ok by tomorrow night, i will pull her out to help her. Also forgot to add, last night whole using a flashlight, i seen a slap line of bristles going down her head. So thankfully i have a positive id on what happened because it drove me nuts all day yesterday.

I know!! I just feel so bad!! I stuck myself with fireworm bristles before Nd it is terrible!!!

Luckily those will come out and the swelling should go down assuming it doesn't get infected. Usually fish in general don't have much of a problem with this type of thing.

Thankfully! Well i just took a peek again and it went down more, discoloration around the face is gone. But still acting a little shy. Hopefully i can get her to eat

All joking aside, you might wanna consider a Halichoeres wrasse for your tank to eliminate the bristleworms.

Have a six line that devours them any chance he got without a problem. Theres just so much macros and live rock, i dont think he can even get the worms anymore haha! I hope she does too

She can probs go a few days without eating much... But might be hard for her to find food if she truly has lost her vision. Maybe you can rig up a lil feeding station for her.. Like @Paul B has done for his mandarin if she starts to get thin.

#everyone! Shes back to eating, i know im not in the clear just yet. But thankfully she just ate! And doesnt appear blind! Shes also swimming around picking like she was in her former glory! Im happy, but still theres the uncertancy that resides... Especially an infection, also my water quality im sure isnt up to snuff. Her eyes still look a tad sunken in, snout still puffy, but her mouth doesnt seem to bother her anymore. The pictures i took yesterday arent that great so ill post some better ones tomorrow, again thanks for the support everyone!

I have a collection of snail shells, twice a day ill take the shells and stuff them with w.e food i choose to use and toss it in. She picks at it for a while untill my darn hermets show up. On water change day, ill collect all the shells and repeat. Sometimes when im in a rush, ill shoot the food into some macro algae works wonders also. Lol, i used to have to feed her with a baster due to having a cleaner shimp. But after 3 years of shoving him away with some food, he finally realized its not a good idea lol!
